Prayer Ministry
Our Vision
Who we are:
Prayer ministry exists to be a Spirit-filled and Spirit-led team that serves the church through communal intercessory prayer. As a ministry we believe that prayer has the power to transform lives because through prayer, we are submitting and calling upon an all powerful God. We value the support of communal prayer as it reminds us that walking with Jesus is not done in isolation, but with the larger body of Christ and for the larger body of Christ. Prayer ministry cultivates a culture of active prayer and a posture of faithful listening to God’s voice at Radiance as we meet to pray through the needs of the church, and lead the church in times of corporate prayer.
“And pray in the Spirit on all occasions with all kinds of prayers and requests. With this in mind, be alert and always keep on praying for all the Lord’s people.” Ephesian 6:18
How to get involved:
If you would like to request prayer, please send an email to prayer@radiancesf.org and we would be honored to intercede and pray in faith over the topics.
If anyone is interested or wants to learn more about the Prayer ministry, we warmly invite you to Sunday prayer meetings at 9:30am, which is open for non-members as well. Send us the email so that we can expect you.
Responsibilities
Ready availability to intercede for the church in prayer
Involvement with church wide prayer and worship events
Lead Sunday morning Seravants’ Prayer meetings and pray corporately before Sunday services
Pray over the prayer requests of the congregational members
Commitment
50% of all prayer meetings (minimum of 2 Sunday morning meetings, minimum of 2 Wednesday Night Prayer attendance encouraged)
Requirements (member, attending cg, etc)
Personal prayer life
Membership
2 trimesters of CG
Experiencing God (preferred)
