Every July at Radiance is Missions Month! Throughout the month, we’ll have opportunities to hear from missionaries and learn more about how we can live missionally as we seek to make Him known.

Pastor Jon Moon
Pastor Moon and his family were sent out as missionaries from Radiance in 2019 to Cobán, Guatemala. They have been serving there at AMI Ministerio Centro de Cobán, La Gracia Church, and Alta Verapaz International School. Their ministry’s mission is to transform the nation of Guatemala through Christ-centered youth ministries focused on spiritual and academic development.

Tim Svoboda
Tim previously served as the International Urban missions Director for Youth With A Mission and currently serves as the City Coordinator for YWAM San Francisco and the Bay Area. Tim, his wife and children have served in India from 1983 to 2007. Tim was the National Director for YWAM India, the South Asia Urban Ministry Coordinator and the Chennai City Coordinator. YWAM Chennai has developed into a decentralized movement of 17 focused teams that are living incarnationally and reaching out to leprosy patients, slum dwellers, university students, urban middle class people, Muslims, and into other sectors of society.

Hau Liu
Hau is married to Carol and they have three wonderful kids. Their lives were changed after taking the Perspectives class on world missions. They had the opportunity to serve as tent makers in East Asia and now reside in California.

Missions in SF Panel
God is moving in San Francisco! On Sunday July 19th after service, we’ll be able to hear from a panel of local missionaries about how God is moving in their ministries throughout the city.
