Our Children's Ministry is now meeting in-person!

We are now meeting fully in-person at 10:30am every Sunday.

All teachers and children (3+) are required to wear masks while indoors. Children 2 and under are encouraged to wear masks if possible.

If your child is exhibiting any cold or flu-like symptoms, we kindly ask that you keep your children home and refrain from attending service in-person.

Curriculum

At Lil’ Rays we have chosen the Children Desiring God curriculum. “Children Desiring God exists to equip the body of Christ to spread to the next generations a passion for the supremacy of God in all things for the joy of all peoples through Jesus Christ. Our aim is to impart to children a vision of God, who He is, and who we are in relation to Him, and to establish them with a foundation of doctrine and truth. We want them biblically grounded, seeing God as the hero of every story, with a God-centered world view and a faith that will hold them when the days of testing come. We want them to love the Lord their God with all their heart, and to delight in Him forever.”

A Safe Environment

At Lil’ Rays, we want to provide a safe and secure environment for each child. Each family checks in their child/children at a self check-in station in front of Gallery A. At the self check-in station, each family will enter your 10-digit phone number. Each child will receive a name tag to wear while he/she is in worship service. The name tag has a unique alphanumeric code that is generated at random every week. All parents will receive a pick-up label with the same code as their children. Each family will show this label to the Lil’ Ray teacher when picking up their child. After check-in, you can drop your child off in Gallery A for worship and the large group lesson. Those arriving later will be guided to the child’s classroom.

Staff & Volunteers

Lil’ Rays is committed to ensuring a safe and secure environment for children. All Lil’ Rays teachers and leaders are carefully screened, supervised, and completed a comprehensive application before serving in Lil’ Rays. This application includes a background check and reference checks. In addition, several teachers have received First Aid, CPR, and AED training. Our teachers and leaders are committed members of Radiance Christian Church.

Lil' Ray by Age Group

Red Rays: Age 1 to Pre-K (potty-trained)
Orange Rays: Kindergarten
Yellow Rays: Grades 1-2
Green Rays: Grades 3-5
Blue Rays: Grades 6-8

First Time Visitors

If you will be visiting Lil’ Rays for the first time, we invite you to arrive 15 minutes before the worship service. Please register at our Kiosk and and pick-up name tags for your child(ren).
